Satsuma Spice Soap
Recipe - Melt and Pour
Ingredients:
One 2 lb. block of Diamond White soap base, cut into cubes
1/4 oz. silk protein (water based)
1 oz. Satsuma fragrance oil
1/8 oz. clove bud essential oil
1/2 teaspoon powdered (finely ground) cloves
Directions:
Melt soap base in micrwave or bain marie.
Warm silk protein slightly (no more than 100F) and add to
melted soap base. Stir to combine thoroughly.
Add ground cloves and stir again.
Add fragrance and essential oil; stir and pour into waiting
molds.
Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 30-60 minutes
before removing from molds.
Makes about 8 x 4 oz. bars.
